Basically Beachy… Basically Adult-y?

Popular beach-wear retailer and franchise Basically Beachy, commonly known for targeting teens and young adults all across the country, recently made a large influence in the fashion industry. Unlike many beach-themed brands, Basically Beachy lets their unique style reside as an east-coast based brand. Using styles inspired by the tropical lifestyle of Florida, many of which have an impressive versatility edge to them. With my recent visit to the store, I took note of many of their popular designs in which may reach past their teen-college aged audience. Their brand extends through different styles to us older audiences, making them a successful franchise. With my trip to this store, I could not help but notice the wide variety of jeans on display, all colors and sizes you could ever imagine.

The jeans were surprisingly comfortable, and fit great! They had jeans of all varieties, cuts, sizes, shapes, and more. With this much variety, it was clear to see that the brand was branching out to those of all sizes and ages, giving the positive attribute of diversity to the brand. Not only did the jeans fit great, but so did many of the stylish sweaters, perfect for the fall and winter seasons. The sweaters came in a variety of styles, include cropped sweaters in which appealed to teenagers, and longer length sweaters which appealed to a mature audience.

Even with the changing seasons, the store kept its tropical, Florida-based theme through its remaining summer styles, including short sleeves, cute tanks, and shorts. Many of these styles had variety as well, showing the retailer’s appeal to more mature audiences through the use of longer styles and neutral colors. A few of these short sleeves caught my attention, especially with Florida’s varying temperatures during the season. Surprisingly, many of these tees better suited me than I would have guessed, also fitting with comfort.

Overall, Basically Beachy had a relaxing theme to bring the store’s overall atmosphere together. The beach theme really sold the overall “chill” vibe of both the franchise and clothing. I might have to keep my eye on Basically Beachy, their growth shows they might just be the next big brand to take over the market.
